Simple guidelines on how to run your own “Fighting for Lives” event:

Before the event

• Find an individual who is willing to hold a martial arts seminar or training session
• Find a dojo or other facility that is willing to let you use the premises for free (for a charity event)
• Find out where you local UNICEF is, or any other reputable kids charity and ask for a few collecting boxes
• Decide on a price for attendance at the seminar, or for the training sessions (we normally expect less for regular training sessions and more for seminars)
• Advertise the event in local dojos and also by word of mouth
• Send us an email and we’ll advertise the event on our webpage and inform a few martial arts clubs in your area of the event by email

On the day and after the event

• Bring the collecting boxes to the dojo and ask everyone to put their money into them
• Hold your seminar and have fun!
• After the event, return the collecting box and be content with the thought that some child somewhere will have a better life as a result of your help
